Who is responsible

Amberdunesracon Venue Publishing Ltd, 34 Ash Grove, Sheffield S10 2RB, United Kingdom, company no. 14720593, is responsible for personal data it processes in connection with this publication. For privacy questions or rights requests, write to [email protected].

Information processed

The page scripts do not send worksheet entries to a server, save them in browser storage or collect analytics. Entries remain in the page while it is open, subject to your browser's own form-restoration behaviour. Copying places text on your device clipboard; downloading creates a text file on your device. Other people or software with access to that device may be able to read those copies.

If you send an email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, organisation, question and attachments. Please avoid sensitive personal information and material you are not authorised to share.

Delivering a website also involves processing technical information such as an IP address, requested page, time and browser information. Hosting services may record this information in access or security logs. This is distinct from the worksheet, which has no submission endpoint.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process correspondence to respond to enquiries, consider corrections and maintain an appropriate record of editorial decisions. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the publication and handling communications, balanced against your rights. Technical data may be processed for the legitimate interests of delivering and securing the website. Where a legal obligation requires retention or disclosure, that obligation provides the relevant basis.

We do not use the worksheet to enrol you in marketing, and we do not sell correspondence data.

Recipients and international processing

Hosting and email providers may process information as necessary to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or competent authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required. We do not publish the personal details in an enquiry merely because it has been sent to us.

Where service arrangements involve restricted international transfers, applicable safeguards must be used, such as adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual protections. You may contact us for information relevant to a particular communication.

Retention and security

We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to address the enquiry, document an editorial correction or meet applicable legal needs. Retention depends on the nature of the matter; you may ask about a specific message. Technical logs should be kept only as long as necessary for their operational and security purposes.

No internet communication is completely secure. Avoid sending confidential project documents or information that would create risk if disclosed. Downloaded files and clipboard contents are under your control; delete or clear them when no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests and receive portable data where the legal conditions apply. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Contact us to exercise your rights. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another competent supervisory authority.

External links and updates

External organisations and your email application operate under their own privacy arrangements. This notice may be updated when practices change; the effective date will identify the current version. See the separate cookies and browser storage notice for the behaviour of the supplied page scripts.
