Scope of this notice
This notice describes the static pages and their first-party functionality on amberdunesracon.com, operated by Amberdunesracon Venue Publishing Ltd, 34 Ash Grove, Sheffield S10 2RB, United Kingdom, company no. 14720593. Contact [email protected] with questions.
The page scripts do not set cookies, use localStorage or sessionStorage, run advertising technology, or include analytics. Reading the essays does not require an account or a tracking preference.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small item of information stored by a browser for a website and potentially sent with later requests. Other technologies, including browser local storage, can retain information without using a cookie. They should not be confused with ordinary page memory, a device clipboard or a text file that you explicitly download.
| Feature | Where information exists | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile navigation | Current page memory | No site-managed persistent storage |
| Scroll reveals | Current page display state | No visitor profile or tracking record |
| Enquiry entries | Form and preview in the current page | Not saved by the site scripts |
| Copy message | Your device clipboard, after your action | Controlled by your device and later clipboard use |
| Download .txt | A file you choose to download | Remains until you delete it |
The worksheet and your browser
The contact worksheet does not transmit your entries. Its preview updates locally. Copying requires browser support and permission; if unavailable, you can select the preview text or download it. Downloading creates a local plain-text file, not a message to the publisher.
Your browser may independently offer autofill, retain form data, cache pages or restore a previous session. These are browser behaviours rather than storage created by our page scripts. On a shared device, close the page and remove any downloaded file or clipboard text that you do not want others to access.
Hosting, external links and additional services
Ordinary website delivery may produce technical server logs, which are addressed in the privacy notice. Cookies are not the same as server logs. External websites opened through our reference links, and your chosen email application, have their own storage practices and notices.
If optional services are introduced, information about their purpose, provider, duration and controls should be provided before they are used. Non-essential storage or access must not be activated without consent where consent is required by applicable law.
Your controls
You can inspect or remove site data through your browser's privacy settings, control cookie permissions, clear autofill and delete downloaded files. Blocking cookies does not disable the first-party essay navigation or local worksheet described here. Disabling JavaScript prevents the mobile toggle, animations and worksheet automation; the articles, standard navigation links and direct email address remain available.
See our contact page if you need help understanding a feature, or the privacy notice for information about correspondence and your data rights.
